Sabriel is tempted to introduce herself as the Abhorsen, but it seemed rather strange to do here when no one would know what that means. "Sabriel," she tells him. "Just...Sabriel." She takes his hand and shakes it formally. "So...tell me about your magic. I've just started learning mine. I mean...I learned it in school, but then I went to the Old Kingdom and realized I just...don't know anything." It felt like such a relief to admit to someone who hopefully wouldn't think badly of her.
