Land, ho!

Welcome to Unnamed Island #1, everyone! Lt. Jopson has successfully steered the ship towards land! (Or maybe the ship was going there the whole time? Who knows, burst his bubble if you want to be a monster!) The island is large and uninhabited by humans, but has lots of wildlife. This isn’t a specific island on a map because, like all things in the dream, it is an amalgamation of the characters in it. So, if it looks like it might be on a tropical island, it will be! Pineapples, coconuts, mangos- sure! Seals and feral pigs- you bet! Beautiful reefs- Of course! Secret Caribbean rum stores- why the hell not? Two species of crabs that shouldn’t be in the same hemisphere- hell yeah! (After all, Goodsir’s the only one who will know the difference). Enjoy the island, folks! The Terror will dock there starting today and they will leave on Tuesday the 7th.

"I'm sorry that happened," Strange says, with utter sincerity. He turns to look at the waves as well, still not entirely sure what to say next and how. "You deserved better than what you were given."

Well, most of them did. Strange has only seen Hickey once, in one of the memories in Crozier's dreams, and just that one interaction is enough for him to think 'idk, maybe this dude kind of deserved it.'

"You can't know that," he tells him. "But it does not matter. I have this, only this now, and I intend on using it." He stands up. "If you'll excuse me, sir? I should see to the supplies."

Strange has the oddest feeling like he just said something wrong. He keeps that to himself, however, only giving Jopson a little nod.

"If you need any help with supplies, gathering, or anything like that, simply say so. I'll be happy to help."

[lieutenantsteward]

He scoffs gently, continuing to walk. "I am aware, Mr. Strange. But you deserve to enjoy the sunshine. I will call if we are in need of your services."

[kingsroads]

"You forget, Lieutenant. I am an Englishman," Strange says, from his spot on the beach. "Two days of sunny weather in a row feels far too indulgent!"

Still, he'll let Jopson go back to the ship. It feels quite indulgent but it's also quite fun.
