Welcome to the Fyre Resort! We hope you enjoy your stay, and all of our fine amenities, including gym, spa, pool, beach, and shuttle to a local theme park! Make sure that when you post, you include the tag #fyreresort per the contract you signed when you accepted our offer. Have fun! Relax! And of course, let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable.

Gym:
Do you like to work out? We sure hope so! Here you'll find any gym equipment your heart desires, perfect for the traveler who likes to stay in shape, whatever their fitness needs! And if all you want to do is jog a couple of steps or sit on a machine with a towel around your neck and take a selfie? We won't tell.

Spa
Need to relax? Stop in for a spa treatment! Facials, massages, manicures and pedicures, ...colonics? Hey, we don't judge! Whatever you need to to feel good, we're here for you! Don't forget to have our technicians snap a picture to show how relaxed you are!

Pool
Need we say more? Come swim, or stretch out poolside while the family plays! There's plenty of room for everyone to have a great time in our pools! Lifeguards are on duty from 8am to 10pm, and we even have a splash pool for the little ones! Remember to take pictures and make those memories last!

Beach
Grab a towel and head to the beach for a day in the sea, sun, and sand! Fyre Resort has beachside access from the ground floor, and beach chairs are available upon request. Don't miss the chance to dip your toes in the ocean. #beachlife, am I right??

Theme Park
Looking for a little excitement in your life? Hop on the shuttle and head over to Local Theme Park! Roller coasters, flumes, and other rides are sure to thrill you, and with no lines or waiting for this special weekend, you'll be coming back again and again! Ride photos are available at the end of each ride.

Food
Room service and fine dining are both available at Fyre Resort. A full bar is also available (must show valid ID!), and if you don't see something on the menu you like, just ask! We are happy to accommodate all dietary needs. Remember to tag the chef!

She shakes her head, giving him a slightly apologetic look. "I think you know better than that. I think you know what I am. You probably have an idea of what this is by now too," she adds, gesturing around them.

Mahir hesitantly reaches out a hand, unable to stop himself until his hand hovers over her arm. "...I never met you in person. Not even when I dream."

She pushes her sunglasses back up. "Like Volleyball? A little Marco Polo?" Blanche laughs.

"Sounds like instagram will eat that right up."

Unluckily for him, Anna totally noticed. She sat up with a gasp, journal and pens set aside abruptly. "Daddy! You said you quit!"

She raises her eyebrow at him. "You haven't."

"I did!" He paused. "For a few days." Truth was, he never really quit. He couldn't quit. "Don't worry, honey. I won't smoke around you."

[brushoff]

Dorian can't help but frown a little. Shit. Well, that meant there was one less person who he could trust to be themselves. Which is a pity, he actually likes Shaun. He was halfway tempted to just spend the rest of this...whatever it was as drunk as he was on the cruise.

But, there's another part of Dorian, the part that loves running headfirst into trouble, that wants to figure out just how the hell something like this would happen in the first place.

"A freak accident," Dorian says, in a far too flippant tone of voice. "It's not really the sort of thing one should be talking about in mixed company—chatting about death ruins the mood."

He drops his hand back to his side, sighing heavily. "No," he agrees, his mouth quirking into a tiny, sad, brief smile. "You can't tell a kind, white lie even here and now, can you?"

"Everyone will love it," he agrees. "And it's a good look for all of us. 'Look how much fun we're all having! Don't you wish you were here too? Hashtag Fyre Resort!'" He gives her a little grin. "So what do you think? Are we going to get you in the pool too?"

"I don't think you'd really be happier if I could." She sighed softly. "But I'm sorry for your sake that I can't, even if I don't think it would make things easier. How are you?"

"Completely miserable." He laughs humorlessly. "And--No, you're right. You always were right. God, I miss you, Georgia. This is Shaun. Isn't it."

"I notice you asked that question but didn't leave room for the question mark in your voice," she says dryly. She nods. "It's him. He's been on the edge for a long time, but this dream share is a little too much." She makes a face. "I hate it too. It doesn't make any kind of sense."

"Yikes," he agrees with a wince. "Yeah, it would probably kill the party spirit around here to talk about grisly water slide death. I wonder why I never heard about it. You'd think that kind of thing would get more publicity."

Sure, it might kill the party spirit to talk about horrible things, but that doesn't mean Shaun will stop.

Mahir shoves a hand through his hair, exhaling heavily. "I wish you were here. Really here. Of course, if you were, this--probably wouldn't be happening. Definitely wouldn't." He shakes his head. "You would hate this whole dream business as much as I do, just like you would hate that he can't function without a hallucination of you in his head. But you know what happened the one time I told him that."

"He emailed you his unpublished blog posts from the week he stopped talking to me, then told you no one got to judge how he copes while he looks for my killer." She frowns at the floor between them. "Of course I don't like it."

[blancheinthesheets]

"So phony," Blanche sighs. She lies back on her lounger, inspecting one of her legs. Hmn. She'll have to roll over soon.

"Oh, no, no, honey," she laughs. "I don't swim. It's my job to sit here like a glorious lawn ornament."

[brushoff]

Dorian just gives Shaun a Look. It is very much a 'I'm already kind of done with this shit' sort of Look. Because dammit, he's heard of said grisly water slide death. He made the damn post! Why is Dorian the only person here who remembers the stupid Terror?

"Funny," Dorian says, as dryly as possible, "I thought you knew about it already. Must be mistaken." He sighs a little bit, reaching into his pocket to pull out a pair of sunglasses. Dorian continues talking as he fiddles with them before putting them on.

"Though really, something's going to kill the party spirit around here sooner or later. This whole thing is forced as hell."

After the fight Crozier can be found in one of the many resort bars. He's drinking something that definitely resembles seltzer (because it is), and trying to hide the very obvious bruised patch over his right eye.

Time to add a headache to go with that bruise. Strange is at the bar, though he's not drinking anything. After having a very long conversation that mostly consisted of him annoying the barkeep and trying to push an herbal supplement he's trying to sell on said barkeeper, Strange spots Crozier.

Giving him a little wave, Strange just walks right over and invites himself to sit down next to the man.

"You know, I've got some ginkgo-ginger detox water back in my suite that should help lessen that bruise."

Crozier sips his seltzer and idly picks out a dried cherry from the fruit tray in front of him.

"If that's an attempt at a chat-up line, you've really misjudged your audience." Crozier turns to eye the woo-medicine pusher, leaning against the bar with a smirk. "That ginger detox whatever -- that's all bunk. You know it's bunk, don't you?"

Strange smiles as he talks. It's the practiced smile of someone who's forced himself to keep the same expression and keep up a picture perfect smile no matter what he's shilling. As such, it's fake as hell.

"Ginger and ginkgo help promote circulation of the blood. Bruises happen when a blood vessel breaks and blood starts to pool under the skin. Increase the circulation, it helps detox the blood from the broken blood vessel and heals things up faster."

Which is an aggressively bunk explanation and not at all how bruising works.

"Honestly, Francis, it's just simple science."

Crozier laughs ruefully and shakes his head. "You know, the dedication you have to shilling your snake oil is almost admirable. I mean it, I do. I admire the way you stick to your guns, even when you're dead wrong."

He finds an apricot off the tray and pops it into his mouth. "You keep saying that you need to increase the circulation in the bruise. That's not science, that's idiocy. In order to slow the bruising it's always the less circulation the better. So a tight compress will do. Or ice."

He raised his brow. "Are you in the ice selling business? Maybe that's what you should do next. Branded ice."

There's a brief moment where Strange's fake smile falters. He got the science wrong? Shit. He'll need to adjust his sales pitch sometime later.

At the ice comment, he can't help but laugh. "I don't have branded ice, but I do have branded water. Alkaline water: it helps with weight loss, immune support, and anti-aging properties. It should be simple enough to freeze some and use it for your bruise."

"Are you never not on, Strange?" Crozier asks, though not unkindly. He finishes the rest of his drink and sets the glass back on the paper coaster with the resort's social media tags.

"If I wanted some ice I could just ask for some from the bar. I'm not going to spend actual money on something that comes from the tap."

"We're at a resort where everybody here is taking pictures, shooting video, and documenting our every moves," he says, like it's the most obvious thing in the world. "Of course I've got to be on. The charm gets turned off back in the hotel room."

And even then, it's less 'the charm gets turned off' and more 'Strange feels comfortable enough to bitch about certain things while enjoying essential oils and a superfood smoothie.'
